Christmas

Christmas is coming. Time for joy and giving. My mom, sister, and I watched a commercial for BC Clark's Anniversary Sale. I want to know what everyone wants, so for a comment, please tell me one thing you want for Christmas?

I want an iPhone and new tires. I also want Grampa Long to send a new story. I want to stay in OK long enough to see Uncle Jack. I want Gigi to give me Teeta's purple silk scarf (but she says I have to wait until she dies like she had to wait for Teeta to die and that's not worth it). I want Gramma Nina to fry up some orange ham. I want Uncle Eric to feel better and I want Juju to not have work - but that's like Daddy not having work.

Phew! My list is long. What do you want?

I think the next family book should be one of Roald Dahl's. His most popular are probably the two CHOCOLATE FACTORY books and JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH but my favorite was always DANNY THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD. THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX is good too.

For Christmas, I want everyone to have fun, and sing, and be silly, and eat too much candy.

I would love to have art/coffee time with your mom... I would love some of those family made apricots dipped in chocolate and rolled in pistachios I received last year. I would also like to learn how to knit some fingerless gloves...Aahh, to want...

Nothing can top the two awesome bowls your mother made me except getting to see my family in Oklahoma! That is all I want this year. Although, Santa could leave completed dissertations and diplomas under the tree for your dad and me. Oh please, please, Santa!

I want some colored tights--mainly navy blue, brown beige and trouser socks of any color but I mainly need neutral ones. My favorite Christmas gift was the green bag you and George decorated. I don't need another green bag but like things you have decorated--maybe candles? Mainly, I want to see you at Christmas time and have a sleep over. I love you! Gigi

Hi Parrish,
What I want most for Christmas is no work and to have lots of fun with you and George. Somebody in the family has a secret - I can't wait to tell, but, I guess I'll have to wait till you get here.
Love, juju
